The investigation must remain capable of establishing that its sponsor was wrong. Its findings must also remain open to evidence-based correction.
Executive perspective
What is Truth Intelligence within AIAS?
Truth Intelligence is the governed investigative process within AIAS used to establish what evidence supports, what remains uncertain, and which explanations, assumptions, or decisions warrant reconsideration. Its concern includes the institutional conditions that determine what an organization is permitted to discover. Accurate data and successful execution do not, by themselves, establish that the organization understands the problem.
This supporting publication accompanies the AIAS Executive White Paper, Version 3.0. It connects evidence qualification, evidence-bounded attribution, accountability, management handoffs, action, reassessment, and learning through a coherent account of inquiry. Authority may choose the action; it should not rewrite the finding. Findings must remain open to evidence-based correction.

Relationship to AIAS
AIAS supplies the business purpose and management framework. The Investor Acquisition Vehicle performs the work and preserves its operating history. Truth Intelligence governs the inquiry through which that history becomes justified, revisable organizational knowledge. It does not add an operating phase, an Acquisition Capital Indicator, a compulsory score, or another elemental form of Acquisition Capital.

The question and its evidence
An investigation begins with a management question that permits an unwelcome answer. It defines the management object, population, observation period, intended outcomes, and boundaries before qualifying the available evidence. Observation, representation, estimate, interpretation, and explanation remain distinct; contradictions, evidence gaps, and assumption-dependent claims remain visible.

Explanation and causation
A plausible explanation must be examined alongside credible alternatives. Evidence that an event occurred, evidence of association, and evidence of causal contribution support different conclusions. More appointments cannot silently become proof of more recognized capital. Management may act before causation is resolved, but the uncertainty and the limits of the finding must remain explicit.

Institutional integrity
The inquiry must remain capable of challenging its sponsor. Authority, incentives, budgets, and professional reputation can influence what an organization records and what it permits an investigation to discover. Leadership can question the reasoning and select a different response, but organizational authority cannot establish that a disputed empirical claim is true.

Findings and management choices
A material finding states what the evidence supports, the period and population to which it applies, relevant limitations, unresolved questions, and what evidence could change it. Findings remain separate from management decisions. High, Moderate, Low, and Insufficient Evidence Confidence are governed judgments, not universal numerical levels of truth.

Worked investigation
The paper uses a hypothetical investigation into whether contact within five minutes improves results. It is an investigation design, not a report of CSP study results. The example connects the supported finding to a bounded management response and then examines whether that response improves the intended outcome without shifting an unrecognized burden elsewhere.

Beyond the current raise
A completed raise establishes an outcome, not independently a healthy IAV or enduring Capital-Formation Capability. An apparent saving may shift work, defer relationship development, or weaken future capability. Investigation examines both the result and what remains available afterward, including inspectable evidence, retained learning, and reusable organizational knowledge.

Putting the discipline to work
Application assigns visible responsibilities for evidence stewardship, investigation, review, management decision, action, and reassessment. Material conflicts and review responsibilities remain explicit even when one person performs multiple roles. Truth Intelligence earns its place when it helps the organization correct its understanding and preserve knowledge that remains useful as people, offerings, and conditions change.
